I had a fairly intense experience: veneers for 8 teeth on top, 6 teeth on bottom. Although this is a fairly arduous procedure, Dr. Hartley and his assistant, Angie, did fabulous work. They attended instantly to any pain or anxiety issues, always striving to make the experience smooth, fast and even soothing. Dr. Hartley has recently moved to a fantastic state-of-the-art facility with all the latest advances in dentistry at his fingertips.

But here's what ultimately counted--the outcome. I simply look at the befores of my poor, stained, twisty teeth, and the afters of my cool bright smile, and break into a grin. Yep, my youthful confidence is restored. I look in the mirror and see my own, personal smile, only backdated to when it was cute. Friends look at me and say, "Gee, you got a nice tan this summer." No. What I got was my old teeth but with the ravages of time removed.

Another great things about the office is that his assistant has been with him 23 years and most of the staff has been there very long term. That says a LOT about Dr. Hartley and the way he treats his staff and patients.

I had 19 teeth fitted with porcelain veneers to address discoloration, worn teeth and in general to address a smile that really made me embarrassed to open my mouth at all.

I had felt for many years (I am 40+) very intimidated by the appearance of my smile/teeth. Frankly, on the other hand, I was also embarrassed by the concept of going through a purely "cosmetic" operation - it seemed very shallow to be worrying about this when people are dying of thirst.
