Let's face it - no one looks forward to going to the dentist. But we know good dental care is a necessity and Dr. Wong is the best. My previous dentist referred me to Dr. Wong and I have not been disappointed. I am speaking as someone who regularly visits Dr. Wong for general dentistry services. The entire office staff is fabulous (Michelle & Jennifer), but I would like to single-out his wonderful hygienist Alysse. I always look forward to seeing and chatting with her during our quarterly visits.
About Hygienist: As I mentioned in my general review, Alysse is fabulous. She does a great job and - yes - my teeth always feel wonderful after she's done. She has a great personality and I always look forward to seeing and chatting with her during my visits.

Dr. Wong is an amazing dentist and I wouldn't want to let anyone else work on my teeth, cause I know he's the best. He always greets you with a smile and makes you feel comfortable during whatever procedure you're having done. The office staff and hygienists are also very warn, welcoming, professional. It is always a relaxing experience to go to Dr. Wong's office. Especially, because you get to relax with a warm shoulder pillow during your treatment!!! If you're scared of the dentist, go see Dr. Wong and you won't be scared anymore.

Dr. Wong is a very personable person who is caring and patient. I feel very confident that he has my concerns ahead of his and is most understanding and kind. There are some things in each person's life that can be very upsetting and not having a dentist that you can trust with regards to pain and skill is a great stress. For me, this is one stress I do not have. There is another equally important issue with regards to who my dentist is. I have gum disease along with diabetes. This is not a good thing! Fortunately, I have the best hygenist on the face of the earth. Elyse is a person who knows what she is doing. She really cares for me and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that her skill makes the best of a very serious challenge that I have. Over all, Dr. Wong's office is like a pair of special shoes, like my favorite pew in church and a place where I can take my teeth and mouth and feel at home.

When I started searching for a cosmetic dentist, I knew I needed an Artist in addition for him to be an excellent doctor. I was very picky because I know I deserve the best . What a lucky person I was to find Doctor Wong, because he *is* an Artist in what he does, and he is a Perfectionist as well. He and his staff made me feel very easy from the very first minute I walked into his office, the office is a spa like, and what the most important, the doctor truly knows what he is doing, he listens to your ideas and concerns and he offers advises on how to make your smile look the most striking and natural at the same time. The overall friendliness of Dr. Wong and his staff help to put at ease the most nervous patients, such as my husband. Their proffessionalism and regard for his patients is constantly shown by educating, informing them of their conditions and avoiding unnecessary and invasive procedures whenever possible. The staff is also extremely helpful dealing with insurance issues and trying to accommodate schedules for appointments. I truly appreciate being treated by a dentist and staff that listens to my dental concerns and take all precautionary meassures necessary to treat a patient with sensitivity issues.

Dr Wong has totally changed my view of dentistry. His office is warm and inviting with complimentary chocolate and coffee while you wait. The staff is always friendly and fun and go out of their way to accommodate you. This office believes in all of the little touches like warm neck pillows during your procedure. Dr Wong is great. He always manages to squeeze me in and does a great job. I would highly recommend Dr Wong and his office to anyone that would listen. Go - you will NOT be disappointed.

Look, I am not big on giving a ton of praise for quality service, that's what you should receive from any business you patron. You are the customer not the other way around, Dr Wong understands this.That being said, basically Dr Wongs office, staff and service is GREAT. I have no dental problems because of their guidance, I have a great smile (need to use it more at times) because of the veneers created by him and can rely on them in an emergency (proven, I lost front temp veneer at work once, fixed next morning).Look, just go check out this Dentist once, your next call will be to your old dentist requesting your files be sent to him.

When Dr. Wong started his practice 23 years ago, I was one of the patients he inherited from the previous dental practice. The care has been superb! The quality of the work is truly excellent and I know Dr. Wong takes a great deal of pride in his precision work. Dr. Wong has been my dentist for a couple years, and I have been consistently impressed - enough to drive 45 minutes for an appointment. He is a very intelligent and communicative person, and as a dentist shows masterful confidence and precision. He has been very generous to me personally by making extra time to do additional fillings, replacing an expensive mouth guard that I broke without charging me, and patiently answering my questions. His office has to be the most Feng Shui place I've set foot in besides the San Francisco Zen Center, complete with little fish, waterfalls, and beautiful pictures. He also has all the latest cool dental technology - digital X-Rays, video monitors everywhere, and lots of free samples to give out.

Dr. Wong and his staff are the most professional, likable, caring, and experienced group of health professionals I have ever come into contact with. I initially came to their office for dental veneers to change my smile. Dr. Wong was extremely supportive through the whole process (I tend to be fearful of dental work) and he used the most cutting edge techniques including pictures of what my new smile would look like on my face prior to getting the veneers. I couldn't have been happier about the whole process and the results which were absolutely fantastic. After such a great experience I was wondering if the general dentistry patients would get the same top notch care as cosmetic patients, and I was so happy to see that my regular cleanings and basic dentistry needs came with the same focus, quality AND spa like treatment! It is truly a pleasure going to the office, I never thought I would say that about going to the dentist. I would recommend this office to anyone who wants a welcoming, helpful front desk staff, the best hygentist who is focused on your comfort and doing a great job, and a top notch denstist with an amazing chair-side manner. I have been seeing Dr. Wong for probably 8 or 9 years. For 2 of those years, I lived in Reno. I tried one dentist in Reno and the experience was a real eye opener. The offices and service didn't even come close to what I've experienced with Dr. Wong and his staff. I wound up driving back to San Mateo every six months for my teeth cleanings, etc. Their offices are always welcoming and spotless. The staff treats me like family and the services are painless and - dare I say it - almost a pleasant experience. :-) Dr. Wong is continually educating himself on the latest advances in dentistry. He is also an amazing humanitarian who continually gives back to the community. On a scale from 1 to 10, Dr. Wong and his staff are an 11! I would highly recommend them to anyone that asks.
