You didn''''''''t leave too much information on your case summary for any type of comprehensive answer in this forum. But it does sound like your best route to take at this time is find a dentist that you would be comfortable with and to seek a consultation. This would allow you to review your options and of course the cost estimates that will follow your treatment. Then you can make a decision that is comfortable for you.I understand that you already have some recent x-rays.
