Case Description
I am SO embaressed. But, also know I need to fix this problem. I have cracked teeth and I think a tooth that needs a root canal (Or extraction). I was involved in a hit and run accident back about ten years ago ( I was the victim, hit by a Drunk Driver) and my back teeth on the right side were knocked loose (along with a broken neck and back! I am OK now though! But, Drunk Driver was unisured)eventually the teeth cracked off/out. I am working right now on getting Dental Insurance,but,there really isn't a great Dental plan, no matter what plan it is! I am a single mother of a six year old, and work very , very hard at keeping my son happy and well taken care of. But, I admit I have not taken good care of my teeth,being that I think my teeth are not as important as clothing, feeding,paying rent and doing everything else for my son and myself. I have put my teeth care on the back burner so to speak! I need help though,I am in pain for sure now.I just read about the schools and I think that may be an option for me. I just need reassuarnce that noone will make "Icky" faces at me, and make fun of me. I would just curl up and DIE if anyone made fun of my teeth. I am so embaressed. Please help. Either ny telling me of a GREAT dental insurance or anything. My credit isnt that great either (due to EX problems five years ago) So Fininacing me most likely would not be an option. There are many options for you. One is to get a discount plan thru the websites (there are a few) and then select a competent dentist on the providers list. Another is to go to the dental schools (University of Pacific or UC at San Francisco). It may take a bit longer to complete your dental treatments, but the result is acceptable.If you like please feel free to contact my office for a consultation. Hope this helps.
